About

Docfd searches local document collections through an interactive terminal interface with fuzzy matching across lines. It shows surrounding passages and can open a result in an editor or PDF viewer. Linux and macOS binaries are available; PDF and office-document support use external converters. Its documented focus is English-language desktop collections rather than large search deployments.
